De-Brief
Huge amounts of learning are lost in the days and weeks following a crisis. Invariably, those involved are fatigued and have little motivation to sit down and think through what went well and what went badly.
The Offering:
Shimmin Ltd. will facilitate a morning or afternoon session with as many of the crisis team as can be gathered. The focus of this time will be to capture key learnings honestly and in an environment where blame or recrimination is put to one side. Often, using an experienced third-party can help greatly in this regard.
The output from a strong de-brief is a document of findings that can be looped-back to the evolution of the crisis manual so that future crises are managed better.
